Milla Nummikoski is an architect specializing in urban planning and public art (Aalto University, Department of Architecture; University of the Arts Helsinki, Academy of Fine Arts) with extensive practical experience in developing the urban environment in the private and public sectors and a long background in the visual arts. Nummikoski's work experience includes projects for the development of a diverse built environment, in connection with which contemporary art has been utilized as part of improvements to the public outdoor space of value environments.

In January 2022, she will start as the director of the Finnish Artists' Studio Foundation.
