An artistic cabinet of curiosities brimming with creatures, objects and situations, born of encounters between humans and nature, as well as between different cultures. The works on display were created during the RaumArs residency in June 2026, as well as in Taiwan and Germany.

Tina Mamczur is a visual artist from Leipzig, Germany, who works with spatial installations, videos and drawings. Through her work, she playfully explores the complex relationship between humans and nature, as well as the many tragicomic situations that arise from it.

Wu Yen-Cheng ja Chou Fang-Yu are an artist duo from Taiwan whose collaborative practice explores the relationships between mythology, ecology, memory, and place.

Wu Yen-Cheng’s practice examines the coexistence and tensions between humans, animals, and the environment. Working across painting, sculpture, photography, and writing, he creates symbolic narratives that reflect on cultural memory, ecological awareness, and the interconnectedness of all living beings.

With a background in architecture and scenography, Chou Fang-Yu transforms space, landscape, and personal memory into poetic visual experiences through installation, video, painting, and spatial interventions. Her work often explores the relationship between place, perception, and imagination.

It's a Monster! Part 2 is the continuation of an ongoing exhibition series that the three artists began in April 2025 in Heraklion, Greece, and are now continuing in Rauma, Finland. The series is supported by mysterious magical forces that miraculously bring the three artists together once again, this time under the wing of RaumArs.
