16.–21.3.2026. Pop-up Exhibition by the Rauma Art Lending Service, open Mon–Fri 13:00–18:00 Sat 11:00–14:00 and on Wednesday also open 18:00–20:00. Every day visitors have the opportunity to meet the exhibition artists and learn more about how the Art Lending works and what possibilities it offers. On Wednesday, a special evening event will take place. During the evening, some Art Lending Service customers will also attend and share their experiences of acquiring artworks and how the decision to purchase a work came about.

The Rauma Art Lending Service has operated for more than 20 years in the Rauma City Library, on the second floor. Around 20 artists from the Rauma Printmakers Association (RTG) and the Rauma Artists’ Association (RTS) participate in the lending service. The artists themselves take turns supervising the space and managing the sales and loans of the artworks. The lending service is open twice a week: Wednesdays 15:00– 18:00 and Saturdays 11:00–14:00. Most of the artists involved in the lending service are participating in the -Catch the Art- exhibition.

The Art Lending Service has also expanded to the Art House RaumArs, located next to the library, where a space is reserved for the Art Lending Service’s artists of the month. The artist of March is Jenny Vuorela.

Artworks can be rented or purchased by private individuals, companies, and organizations. The monthly rental fee is determined by the price of the artwork. A work can be purchased either through monthly rental payments or with a single payment. The minimum rental period is one month. Renting allows you to live with the artwork before making a purchase decision. If desired, the artwork can be returned to the lending service, in which case the paid monthly rental fees remain with the artist.

Visitors are welcome to explore the artworks at the Art Lending Service and the Art House RaumArs exhibition even without the intention of buying. Everyone is welcome, and the artists are happy to talk about their work.
