Individual artists, couples, small groups and families can apply for the residency. The working period is 1–6 months. It is also possible to apply for the use of gallery spaces (for rent) and the garden (free of charge) when applying for a residency. If the artist wishes to organize an exhibition or hold an open studio in addition to the residency period, this must be applied for at the same time as the residency application.

Residency can be applied for in different fields
- visual arts (incl. handicrafts, design, architecture)
- performing arts (incl. sound and light art)
- curators, art historians, authors and researchers.

The well-equipped residence apartment has three rooms: single and double bedrooms with private bathrooms, a small study and a shared kitchen. On the gallery side there are three rooms open to the public for exhibitions, workshops or meetings and an office/kitchen in the middle of the house. Artists-in-residence have access to the entire house.
